JULY VIC MEETING TO FEATURE We ROC! and World Class Arts and Culture CAMPAIGNS

The July 15 VIC meeting at George Eastman House International Museum of Photography and Film's Curtis Theatre, will provide an opportunity for VisitRochester member representatives and guests to hear about the newest marketing campaigns promoting Rochester to our own community. Creators and partners of "We ROC!" and "World Class Arts and Culture Rochester"   campaigns will be the guest speakers-hear why the campaigns were conceived, see the creative work, learn where and when you'll see the ads!  Also, look for the familiar circle R in all the ads, bringing all the campaigns together with the community brand Rochester Made for Living.

So, invite your leadership, colleagues and perspective members-As our County Executive Maggie Brooks said at a recent press conference, "We Roc, in a city with World Class Arts and Culture, that's Made for Living!"

Public Relations

The inaugural InternNet event sponsored by Xerox and VisitRochester/Rochester Made for Living was a huge success! There were over 200 college interns and local business leaders in attendance for this networking event to promote Rochester to college students interning at local business and corporations. We hope they'll go back to school in the fall and tell their friends that Rochester is a place truly Made for Living! To top off the event, Mayor Bob Duffy proclaimed June 25, 2008 to be Intern Day.

Don't forget to submit your special events to our online event calendar at http://www.visitrochester.com/!
